Drown-Free Guahan
(DFG) Initiative
In an effort to combat Guam's devastating statistic of at least one fatal drowning a month, Amphibious & our community partners have launched the Drown-Free Guåhan (DFG) Initiative. A $20 registration fee will be assessed per child/parent pair or adult participant and sessions will be held in Tumon Bay. Amphibious Aquatics will announce when the newest sessions are scheduled for Fall 2025.
The Drown-Free Guåhan (DFG) Initiative is brought to our community by Amphibious Aquatics in partnership with the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB), Hyatt Regency Guam, Rotary Club of Tumon Bay, Bank of Guam, Cars Plus, Cycles Plus/Kawasaki, Law firm of BXB - Baumann, Xu, & Black, David Beaver and Associates of Raymond James, and with support from the KUAM Careforce, Fökai Industries, Guam Fire Department, Tano & Tasi Water Safety, Guåhan Bodyboarders, Inc. and Swim League Philippines (SLP).
